Based on my experience I’m a pretty typical guy and father. I live in South Louisiana working as software developer professionally who loves sports, working out, beer, great food, my family and whatever comes to mind. A perfect Sunday is a BBQ and hanging out on the beach. When I’m not working I’m trying to relax as much as possible. Sounds like most people right?
Well I’m sure like many first time dads before I had my baby I wouldn’t hold a baby. I treated babies like a hang grenade with no pin in it. I’m holding it tight by the clip holding my breath scared I’ll mess up and cause a disaster. Sounds like some right?
Unlike most however I like to be reflective, keep notes and look back on history. Since my wife and I began our journal to now in our baby having adventure I’ve paid close attention. I don’t want to mess up, I want to get better and I want to be the perfect dad for our baby. Since my wife became pregnant it’s my biggest hobby, job and obsession by far.
