Game Day Dad

Before I was a dad all I heard about was diapers.   Everyone wanted Wayne to change the first diaper and everyone wanted to know what Wayne knew about changing diapers.   It was seriously out there and it kind of got to me.  Could it really be that bad to change a diaper?  Thinking about about it I was worried because I wondered how it’d feel if I had to wipe my own butt if I’d soiled myself.   Straight up nasty!

It’s  Nothing to Change a Baby’s Diaper

Seriously, it’s nothing.   If you stop and think about what a  baby takes in to their system you’re not really worried about what’s in their diaper.   Infants live off of a diet that’s about 100% milk/formula until they’re a few months old.   After which they eat pure vegetables and fruits.   Their waste is probably as clean as much of the food we eat every day.   It might smell a little but other than that it’s nothing.    You wipe it off, put on a new diaper and boom you’re all new.  

So all you first time dads out there just shrug off any diaper comments because they’re just folks trying to be funny.   Most of them know it’s nothing but unfairly they might not realize you don’t know!   Just change it and go.  It’s all worth it!
